PESCO New Connection Procedure
You can apply for your Pesco new connection by visiting the PESCO office, however, nowadays PESCO offers an online platform for Electricity New Connections (ENC). This is the latest system where you can visit online and apply for your new connection by selecting your connection type and entering the required details.
To apply for a new connection, please follow these steps:
- Visit the official website of Electric Network Company (ENC) at http://enc.com.pk/.
- From the sidebar menu, select “Apply.”
- Enter the reference number of your neighbor and choose the connection category you wish to apply for, such as 15kW.
- Provide your basic details and upload the following required documents (file size must not exceed 300KB):
- Property Document Copy
- Attested CNIC Copy of Applicant
- Attested CNIC Copy of Witness
- Neighbor’s Electricity Bill Copy
- Wiring Contractor’s Test Report
- Submit your application.
- Upon successful submission, you will receive a tracking ID.
- From the sidebar menu of ENC, click on “Print Form” and enter your tracking ID to generate a printout of your application.
- Print out your application form and attach hard copies of all required documents.
- To complete the application process, attach the required documents and submit it to the designated office.
- After verification, a demand notice will be generated. You can download this notice by entering your tracking ID on the ENC website.
- Settle the payment for the demand notice at the designated bank.
- Forward a duplicate of the payment request notification to the appropriate department.
- Your connection will be installed after the verification of your payment.
Change Connection Name/Tariff/Load
To modify your connection’s name, tariff, or load, follow these steps:
- Visit the official ENC website by clicking on the provided link.
- From the sidebar menu, click on the “Change” option.
- Select the type(s) of change you want to make (name, load, or tariff).
- Fill in only the necessary details for the specific change you’re requesting.
- Attach the following documents, ensuring that each file does not exceed 300 KB in size: attested CNIC copy, a copy of your electricity bill, and proof of property ownership
- Submit your application and keep the tracking ID for future reference.
- To print your application form, use the “Print Form” option in the sidebar menu on ENC. Enter your tracking ID to generate the form.
- Print the form and attach hard copies of all necessary documents.
- Send the application and attached documents to the appropriate office.
- After verification, a demand notice will be issued. Use your tracking ID to download it from the ENC website.
- At the designated bank, make a payment in the amount specified in the demand notice.
- Submit the duplicate copy of the paid demand notification to the appropriate department.
- Once the payment is verified, the requested changes will be implemented.
PESCO New Connection Tracking
To track the status of your application, whether it’s for a new connection or a change in name, tariff, or load, you will need your unique Tracking ID. This ID was provided to you after submitting your application form.
Follow these steps to track your application:
- Visit the ENC website.
- From the sidebar, click on “Track.”
- Select the application type: new connection or change of name/tariff/load.
- Select the company, which is PESCO in this case.
- Now write your Tracking ID and click the “Submit” button.
